Thanks to you. 2014 has been a really incredible year for us. We have reached more community members, increased the number of women in our programs and our resident startups have raised more money.
Through our partnerships, residents in our space have access to free co-working space in 24 other tech hubs around the world through the Google for Entrepreneurs tech hub passport program.
Launched in March 2014, the Women Passion program (WOPA), is an experiential based learning program, supported by Google for Entrepreneurs and WeTech Global under the #40Forward initiative, that seeks to train up-to 100 women in programming and entrepreneurship skills.
Mercy Corps Agri-Fin Mobile program partners with Ensibuuko to deepen financial inclusion in Uganda through a mobile banking platform for Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SACCO’s)
Office hours has a special focus this week. Besides companies and teams who want to have feedback related to their projects (UI/UX and branding/concept) we are looking to meet local Designers who would like to show their talent. All designers welcome from graphic to product to fashion!
On 24th November 2014, 12 invited startups had a pitching session where they were heard by a panel of 3 external Judges in order to be selected by Outbox for nomination for a 2 week all expenses paid trip to Silicon Valley.
