Last Friday 6th December, 2013 Outbox hosted Intel® Developer Zone for the first Android event dedicated to building, re-compiling and boosting apps performance.This event brought together 87 developers into Outbox space, with few girls registering attendance. Last week, Ensibuuko, a team incubated at Outbox was the overall winner at the ICT4AG hackathon. The ICT4Ag conference took place in Rwanda at the Kigali Serena hotel. By Ampaire Christine (business analyst TW Uganda)Ada Lovelace Day in TW Uganda was a great success!We started organizing from the first week of October, and, in a very short time, with a lot of helpfrom our colleagues, we could get things done. We asked for sponsors to pay for the snacks and the venue, considering that the office here is quite small and we wouldn't have enough space for our expected audience. At the end, we managed to get Outbox and Airtel as our sponsors, for venue and food respectively.

Last weekend, October 5th - 6th 2013, 13 software developers came together at Outbox to participate in the Random Hacks of Kindness (RHOK) East Africa.The hackathon also had participants from Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.RHOK brings together software developers to build solutions that solve a number of social problems.
