.NET User group meet - Friday 25th October, 2013

  • The Windows App Store (Flexible Application marketing Models)

We also discussed how Microsoft products like Visual Studio 2013 (Ultimate edition) and Windows 8.1 can be accessed by those wishing to start developing on those platforms. http://www.bizspark.com/ for recent companies  and http://www.dreamspark.com/ for students still at university.We also discussed how there was no more need for use of pirated software and we all PROMISED to work together to end this practice. Also mentioned was the availability of ALL tools and services on the Microsoft platform such as Outlook groups, Office web apps as well as an excellent integration between facebook and outlook to provide social media. We look forward to the next meeting on Windows Phone 8 that will be on the last friday of the month and starting at 6pm in outbox.
