Who are Django Girls?
Django Girls Kampala is part of the global Django Girls community. Django Girls Kampala is a community that empowers and helps women by organizing free, one-day programming workshops by providing tools, resources and support. We are a volunteer run organization and are making technology more approachable by creating resources designed with empathy.
During each of our events, 30-60 women build their first web application using HTML, CSS, Python and Django.
What it takes to be a Django Girl.
- Join us for one of our workshops or take part in our level up programs in order to get added to our community channels and receive support from our coaches/mentors at any time.
- You don’t need to come from a computing background to join Django Girls. Bring the passion for technology and commitment and we’ll take care of the rest.
