In partnership with UNFPA and the Government of Uganda, we are running multiple innovation challenges that seek to support young people establish social businesses that address challenges in sexual reproductive health by building youth friendly services or products. We provide them with mentorship, seed funding, and training to enable them build out their businesses.
We are leveraging a series of hackathons and incubation to support young entrepreneurs that are using mobile technologies to solve social challenges in Health, Education, Finance, Agriculture and Media & Entertainment.
We are implementing a series of 3-month boot camps for individuals with limited or no experience in software development to acquire the skills needed to build their own businesses or succeed in the workplace.
Three winners of the Health Supply Chain Solutions Challenge were named during Uganda’s National Health Supply Chain Week (July 26–30, 2021). The winners were selected from a pool of more than 130 concepts presented to the competition’s judges.
