About Outbox:

Outbox is a learning and practising community for technology. We bring together entrepreneurs, investors, students, mentors, researchers and organisations to develop the relationships, skills and networks necessary to foster talent and opportunities in the technology sector.

We offer an exciting combination of workspace, business incubation and technical training programs.

Through our Outbox EDU initiative, we teach industry relevant skills in web and mobile development, data science to students through intensive bootcamps, while making them ready for the workplace and supporting linkages to dignified job opportunities. Through this initiative, we are collaborating with other organisations like Moringa School based in Kenya.

Each year, Outbox hosts over 200 networking events that bring together over 5,000 individuals.

As an enrollment and admissions associate, you will be a point of contact for potential students in our full-time and part-time programs under Outbox EDU.

You are an ambitious, results-driven, individual who can be an effective brand ambassador for Outbox, and will be responsible for driving applications to our Outbox EDU programs.

What you will do:

+ Manage the Outbox EDU enrollment process for potential students -- from qualified leads to admissions -- including supporting with communication once a qualified candidate is enrolled

+ Conduct outreach campaigns and engage pre-application with high value candidates sourced through other Outbox meetups/programs, info-sessions, our communities, etc;

+ Adhere to all set admissions KPIs, and enrollment budget expectations including, but not limited to: conducting daily outreach calls, student interviews, generating referrals etc

+ Communicate regularly with the Outbox team and partners on conversion events, incentives, student quality, recruitment strategies, etc within the established framework

+ Be a supportive and engaged member of Outbox operations, particularly on meetups and evangelism

+ Other duties as assigned


About you

+ 1 - 2 years of sales, admissions, education programming, business development or customer service experience;

+ Excellent written and verbal communication;

+ Ability to work some nights and weekends;

+ Proven track record of success;

+ Bachelor's degree;

+ A motivated, goal oriented, ambitious individual who is inspired by the opportunity to transform lives through access to technical education, and improve livelihoods through linkages to job opportunities.
