Machine learning has captured the popular imagination, conjuring up visions of futuristic self-learning AI and robots. In industry, machine learning has paved the way for technological accomplishments and tools that would have been impossible a few years ago.
Join the GCDC Kampala community on 20th July 2018 at Outbox technology hub from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and learn some of the applications of Machine learning and what opportunities you can take advantage of. Also get a chance to ask the facilitators any questions about AI and Machine Learning.
Machine learning is an umbrella term for a set of techniques and tools that help computers learn and adapt on their own. Machine learning algorithms help artificial intelligence learn without being explicitly programmed to perform the desired action.
By learning a pattern from sample inputs, the machine learning algorithm predicts and performs tasks solely based on the learned pattern and not a predefined program instruction.
Who should attend?
Anyone who is interested in learning and applying ML and AI to solve problems.
Outcome:
At the end of this session, the participants should be able to have a better understanding of Machine Learning and should be able to apply it in industry to solve a given problem.
