About the Event
The Kampala R User Group, Outbox, and insight2impact (i2i) invite you to a machine learning hackathon. You and your team will solve a ZINDI (www.zindi.africa) challenge during the training + hackathon event (featuring guidance from expert mentors and refreshments and cash prizes).
The challenge
Xenteis an e-payments, e-commerce, and financial services company in Uganda offering various products and services that can be paid for using Mobile Money, Bank Card, Xente wallet, and on credit. As e-commerce and digital financial services expand, algorithms for fraud detection need to become smarter.

Who can participate?
Anyone interested in data science and machine learning is welcome. It will help if you are familiar with R or Python. Carry your own laptop!
