Are you in Kampala and want to participate in the Up Accelerate WAY Edition? Come and understand how you can participate. There will be an information session this Friday 21st September at OutboxHub starting at 5:30pm.
Outbox, in partnership with Reach A Hand Uganda, The Government of Uganda and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) under the 8th Country Programme are implementing the Women, Adolescents, Youth Rights and Empowerment Programme (WAY) in Acholi and West Nile regions.
WAY is a programme supported by the Danish Embassy which will target host and refugee women and young people as primary beneficiaries across 5 refugee and 3 non-refugee hosting districts. These are Adjumani, Agago, Amuru, Arua, Kitgum, Lamwo, Moyo, and Yumbe.
Up Accelerate WAY edition seeks to support up-to 80 youth (Refugees and Non-refugees) who will be nurtured to develop and implement break-through entrepreneurial solutions/businesses for the improvement of SRHR and GBV outcomes.
The incubation process will provide mentorship, seed funding, business training and linkages to markets so as to enable the beneficiaries build self-sustaining solutions.
