Join us at Outbox Hub on Thursday 12th July 208 for the July Edition of GeekNight from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. 

In this edition, we shall have a simple presentation walking web developers on how to create simple, clean and beautiful user Interfaces without having a design background. We will be using tools and libraries like Bootstrap and animate.css. This is to emphasize the need for clean UI in web development.

What shall we cover?

1. Importance of clean and simple web design
2. Principles of good web design
3. Using Bootstrap to structure and layout a website
4. Adding simple animations to your website.

Who should attend?

• New web developers who have just started programming and want to learn how to make their projects look good.
• Freelance developers who want to learn how to create more high quality work for their clients.
• Developers who want to learn new skills.

Outcomes:

At the end of the session, participants will;

i) Understand the importance and benefits of good UI design.
ii) Know the principles of good website design.
iii) Have a base understanding of how to use Bootstrap to style their websites.

Pre-requisites:

Basic HTML and CSS knowledge will be required.
