Kola Studios stands a chance to win $5,000 following their Success Story

Share your story around the world and stand a chance to win $5,000 for your business and, if you are part of one, another $5,000 for your Google Business Group.

As an initiative to support startups around the world, Google Business Groups, is documenting success stories of startups that are using Google to do extraordinary things.

Kola Studios one of our resident startups is a beneficiary of this initiative for their inspirational Success Story [in thisVideo].

Kola Studios submitted its story last year and were selected for the case study this year and the video shoot took place in June last month, 2014. They now join the competition and stand a chance to win $5,000.

Kola Studios uses so many google services to run their company. Some of the services include, Gmail, Google Cloud, Google Calendar, Google+ and Android.

Android is Kola Studio's primary platform for all the games and applications that they develop.

Kola Studios is a mobile game development company based in Uganda that turns popular African offline games into amazing mobile apps. Thanks to them, their famous games including Matatu will not be forgotten.

Kola Studios have developed many games including Matatu, Last Card, Karata, Zword, Twendela, Spar, Tapt and Keiko which are all found on Google play.

The latest of these games include:

Last Card: A New Zealand card game, that we made to expand our market.

Spar: A Ghanian card game that we created to serve the west African market.

Keiko: A fun adventure game with the Kampala skyline as its main inspiration

Kola Studios developed these 3 games in a period of 6 weeks in order to increase their game footprint and to get more users.
