Ensibuuko raises USD 8,020 on the Kiva platform

Ensibuuko, a startup that is working to increase farmer's access to saving opportunities leveraging mobile and web technologies has raised up-to USD 8,020 for it's first seven (7) modal farmers on the Kiva Platform in just 5 days.

Ensibuuko was an overall winner from the ICT4Ag hackathon organised by CTA that brought together up-to nine competitors from East Africa. As part of the prize, they won a six month incubation at Outbox with support from CTA.

This marks a great milestone in improving access to Credit. We shall keep you posted on the progress of Ensibuuko.
