Uganda team wins ICT4Ag hackathon

Last week, Ensibuuko, a team incubated at Outbox was the overall winner at the ICT4AG hackathon. The ICT4Ag conference took place in Rwanda at the Kigali Serena hotel. Parallel to the conference, a hackathon on Agriculture brought together nine (9) teams from nine hubs to participate in the challenge.  The teams included the following:

We asked for sponsors to pay for the snacks and the venue, considering that the office here is quite small and we wouldn't have enough space for our expected audience. Uganda wins Random Hacks of Kindness East Africa 2013

Last weekend, October 5th - 6th 2013, 13 software developers came together at Outbox to participate in the Random Hacks of Kindness (RHOK) East Africa.The hackathon also had participants from Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.RHOK brings together software developers to build solutions that solve a number of social problems.
