Karungi Terry, at Kola studios in Kampala, Uganda shares her experience as a female co-founder for a game development studio. Terry has experience working as an intern at Google Uganda. More to that, she is a previous Google-Zawadi scholar.

This month, we are excited to launch the Women Passion program (WOPA), an experiential based learning program, supported by Google for Entrepreneurs under the #40Forward initiative, that seeks to train up-to 100 women in programming and entrepreneurship skills.

On Saturday 1st February, Outbox Research hosted the first R for Data Training and Visualisation training at Outbox from 10 am to 1pm.

On 21st January, Outbox hosted the final showcase for the participants in the NTV Ideas lab. Four teams which were undergoing incubation at Outbox; Kyalo App, Creative DNA, Lacel group and WEA group presented their first solutions and of those, one winner Creative DNA was chosen.
